Exciting Times

Since Magda and I first met our goal was to always incorporate our teaching backgrounds into our work. Before her children Magda was head of Design Technology at a Suffolk high school and I was a Hair and Beauty Instructor/Teacher for 8.5 years, also at a Suffolk high school.

We wanted to combine our love of the arts and being creative along with passing on some of our skills. When we set up Wedlock Design and Events we knew we could incorporate this aspect into our work and now we are so excited to announce that we will be working in collaboration with the fabulous Honey & Harvey Melton store to bring you a range of fun and creative workshops. You will find a list of our first five workshops, dates and details under the Workshops tab on the menu bar.

We are initially offering adult workshops (with coffee and cake)  in Spring Wreath Making, Crochet Cactus Plants,  40+ Makeup, Felt Flower Boxes, Bouquets and Boards….. and Felt Succulents but we have many more ideas in the pipeline, including workshops for children. Keep an eye on our social media and website for full details.

If there is anything you would like us to feature then please drop us a line.

Hope to see you at our workshops

Essex Wedding Exhibition

Magda and I had a very successful day at the Essex Wedding Exhibition at the Unit 7 nightclub in Basildon. We spoke to lots of lovely brides, grooms and their family and friends. The location is great with free parking and they always attract a great turnout. We love travelling to Essex as we are always made to feel welcome and both the attendees and the other suppliers are friendly and supportive of our business. The show is held over two floors, extremely well organised and marketed. We also like that the show is all about the suppliers and not the venue, with lots of high quality products and services on offer.

We hope to receive lots of enquiries and if you attended today please do not hesitate to contact us for further details and information or a bespoke quote. We look forward to attending the September exhibition.
